new job

yes, i finally got a new job! it was a long and complicated road but it has finally ended to me getting a position that will allow me to join the ranks of the working people - haha. i've been working at my job for the past 5 months as a temp. things were going pretty well and they had offered me to stay for a longer contract but unfortunately things didn't work out the way i expected. since i work in recruiting, the work all depends on client availability. the client i was assigned to decided not to sign until january - so it means i didn't have any work until then. i really cannot be off work for 2 months. luckily for me a new position was open in a different department and well i ended up getting the job. i'm going to finish out temping for the year but in january i am going to get hired directly through the company - means a real salary, insurance, benefits...yay!!!! definitely a huge answer to prayer and a huge relief off my shoulders. granted, i wasn't sure how long i wanted to stay in indy but hey, if i have a good job then there's not reason why i should want to move.
so things are finally starting to fall into place. i wasn't sure if it ever would...i didn't really want to temp for a long time but i couldn't find anything else to save my life. i have applied to so many jobs i can't keep count. hopefully other things will fall into place.
